The tutorials refer to Movie Edit Pro, upon which Movie Studio 18 was based, however they do apply to Movie Studio. The program is not capable of emulating the old Vegas product however there is a list of tutorials here which will help you move over the the new version if you wish to continue with it, you will also find that the Movie Studio 2022 has more features and capability then the older version. vf project file however it will only the basic cuts only, effects etc used are not imported. Studio does have the ability to import projects from the old discontinued Vegas Movie Studio.
